I’ve had my snakebites for 5-years now. Is it time to grow up and take em’ out?

They’ve become a part of me, cheesy as it may sound. I don’t recognize myself without them. But, I’ll need to find a full time, professional job soon and I doubt anyone will hire a 23-year-old with snakebites. Plus, I get so many remarks about them when I’m out shooting I’m kind of sick of it.

Which reminds me…
I’m LONG overdue for a new tattoo. Its been like, what, 4-years?!

I’d like to get a half sleeve on both arms, eventually, but then I’d have to wear long sleeves and hide them whenever I work. And Daddy won’t be too happy (he still thinks he can tell me not to get anymore, hehe).  I sometimes felt deceptive covering them for an interview, then once I got hired and they knew it was like, surprise!

You know what though… having piercings and/or tattoos does not make a person any less professional. Neither does being friends with Mary Jane. I believe if a person is lazy, they are regardless of what’s on their body and what they decide is their drug of choice.

I wish society would be more lenient and less judgmental. Who cares about looking professional in the workplace when you are professional at heart. Right?

Gonna research asian style ink. I want a Japanese style tattoo to represent my heritage.
